
Ayurveda, sister science to Yoga, is an ancient system of healing which originated 5000 years ago in India. In Sanskrit Ayu´ means life andVeda´ means knowledge, so Ayurveda is often referred to as the `science of life´. As per Ayurveda everything on this planet, including our bodies, consists of five elements: fire, water, earth, air, and space. Ayurveda believes that every individual is a unique combination of these five elements and imbalance of these elements cause the diseases or disorders. pulse_check_pic Ayurvedic treatment aims at balancing these elements (or Dosha) to neutralize the disease process. Opposite of western medicine, which treats manifestations of disease, Ayurveda assess directly to the root cause of all diseases. Arpita is NAMA registered Ayurveda Practitioner. During your initial consultation, Arpita will assess your unique constitution (prakriti) and tendencies toward imbalances (vikriti), Conduct a detailed assessment and offer educational suggestions tailored to your unique constitution and current concerns. This consultation includes:

Once you’ve had your initial consultation and started on initial Lifestyle recommendations, it’s time to check-in with your Arpita for follow-up Appointment. We recommend that you should have follow-up sessions every quarter. During this visit Arpita will review the changes that you experienced since your last consultation and make appropriate seasonal adjustments. You can buy individual follow-up session or package of four follow-up sessions.
